Notre histoire

My grandmother, Simone Arnaud, has run the Hôtel du midi, Hotel/Bar/Restaurant, a reference for the Ubaye Valley for many years.
It was all her life, she loved cooking so much and making those around her happy.

In 2012, unfortunately she joined Paradise so that she could rest there after having worked for more than 65 years ...

Up there, I know she feels good.
So we decided with my mom, Véronique Arnaud, to take up the torch.

We thus continued the tradition of the Hotel du Midi for 3 years.
My mother in service and maintenance, and I in the kitchen.

After 35 years of loyal service to the Hotel, Véronique wanted to take off again.
I did the same to have no regrets.

Véronique is now a nursing assistant at Jausiers hospital. She is very happy in this new profession and that is all that matter.

After a year of several odd jobs on Gap, I realized that I am made for this job and this hotel. I know my grandmother would be proud that this establishment remains in the family.

Here I am, after several months of work, with 5 comfortable guest rooms, a bar and a restaurant to welcome and satisfy you.
